Scenario Practice Sessions

4 hour practice sessions enabling students to remain proficient in their backcountry rescue skills.

“I’ve been looking for ways to keep practicing my skills after the course is over. This is the perfect opportunity to refresh my skills before each season.”

-Karin, Prior WFA & WFR Student

Wilderness Medicine Scenario Practice Sessions - 4 hrs

When’s the last time you practiced Primary Assessment?

Join us for a practice session to keep your skills sharp so you’re ready to respond to any backcountry incident. Each session will start with a quick review of Patient Assessment, followed by both 1:1 and group scenarios. Students will participate as both patients and rescuers. I will also leave time at the end for a Q/A session for any other questions related to information learned during WFA or WFR courses.

These are not intended to be used as a re-cert. Each session will consist of minimal lecture and instead focus on hands-on scenario practice with quick debriefs.
