All students who receive certifications from Utah State University or Desert Mountain Medicine will still be eligable for DMM’s online continuing education portal in addition to Backcountry Ready’s Scenario Practice Sessions.

Our Wilderness First Aid Courses are 16 hrs long and take place over the duration of 2 full days, or 4 evening sessions.

Unfortunately, you must be in attendance for the entire course in order to receive a WFA certification. There is a lot of information covered in a WFA, so every minute counts!
